Paid assignments

Umpires
Officiate the cricket you love
Zinga matches are only worth what the scoring is worth. That makes the umpire the most important person on the ground. Register, get trained, get assigned and get paid.
- Trained and certified by Zinga
- Assignments in blocks
- Paid per match
The role
More than calling wides
A Zinga umpire officiates the match and scores it live in the app, ball by ball. Every statistic a player carries and every ranking traces back to what the umpire recorded on the ground that day.
Every Zinga match has assigned umpires. No match starts without them.

Why do it
What you get out of it
Regular work
Tournaments run in blocks, so assignments come in groups rather than one at a time.
Training and certification
Zinga trains and certifies umpires on both match rules and the scoring app.
A reputation that travels
Your record as an official is tracked, and the umpires who handle the biggest matches are the ones who have earned it.
Umpire assignments
Assignments and payments
Assignments are based on your availability and the grounds you cover. Tournament blocks can include several matches. Every match carries an umpire fee.
Review the assignment and its payment details before accepting. Contact the team if you need clarification.
